1 Functional Application

Ojie® IMUNELL V80 Yimuneng Disinfectant is a sterilization and disinfection product designed for GMP environments, pharmaceutical and food equipment, utensils, and packaging. Developed by German biochemist Dr. Schmalz, it is recommended by the German Food and Drug Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture. It is widely used in sterile workshops of the pharmaceutical, food, dairy, and beverage industries; CIP systems; COP production and packaging areas; equipment and utensils; packaging materials; as well as for disinfecting environments, air, surfaces, arms, hands, and skin in transportation vehicles, ships, airplanes, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, schools, households, and public places. It is also applied in public health epidemic prevention disinfection.

2 Product Features

2.1 Broad-spectrum sterilization. It can eliminate Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, molds, yeasts, Enterobacter sakazakii, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Salmonella, Candida albicans, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Legionella, Aspergillus niger, and other pathogens within 15 seconds to 2 minutes. It also inactivates influenza virus, swine fever virus, avian influenza virus, hepatitis virus, syphilis, H1N1 virus, and hand-foot-mouth disease virus, among others.

2.2 Safe and convenient to use. The product is colorless, odorless, non-irritating, non-corrosive, residue-free, requires no rinsing, and has no side effects on the human body. It exhibits good biodegradability, no bioaccumulation, does not pollute the environment, and complies with environmental emission standards.

2.3 Stable properties. Its sterilization efficacy is not interfered with by organic matter such as proteins, is unaffected by environmental conditions, has a long decay cycle, and can be reused.

3 Main Ingredients and Mechanism of Action

3.1 Main ingredients of the product

V80 is a compound generated through enzymatic reaction from extracts of various fruit acids' dialdehydes. Its excellent physicochemical properties make V80 far superior to other domestic and international disinfectants in terms of application safety and sterilization effectiveness.

Dual-chain quaternary ammonium salt: The quaternary ammonium salt contained in this product is didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride. It is proven that quaternary ammonium disinfectants have broad-spectrum sterilization, fast action, strong efficacy, good stability, and are non-irritating. The advent of dual-chain quaternary ammonium salts ended the history of quaternary ammonium salts being low-efficacy disinfectants, as they exhibit stronger bactericidal effects and a broader spectrum than single-chain quaternary ammonium salts. The didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride in this product can kill various microorganisms, including bacterial spores, and is classified as a high-level disinfectant.

Active factor (WSB): The active factor (WSB) in Ojie® IMUNELL V80 Yimuneng Disinfectant is a natural polypeptide extracted from plants. Its role is to degrade post-sterilization products, breaking them down into smaller compounds to further reduce toxicity. It has almost no impact on BOD and COD in the environment and is nearly non-toxic to aquatic life. It also enhances sterilization efficacy and avoids interference from organic matter such as proteins during the sterilization process.

Chelating agent: The chelating agent in Ojie® IMUNELL V80 Yimuneng Disinfectant enhances the stability of the disinfectant, softens water quality, and assists in disinfection and sterilization. The shelf life of IMUNELL V80 concentrate can be up to three years, and even a 1% dilution can be stored for over 18 months. The chelating agent makes the specific gravity of the entire V80 compound slightly greater than water, preventing evaporation under light and heat, thereby effectively extending the product's shelf life.

3.2 Mechanism of Action

Ojie® IMUNELL V80 Yimuneng Disinfectant is composed of internationally patented V80, didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride, active enhancement factor WSB, chelating agent, and others. Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant that reduces water surface tension and strongly promotes liquid penetration, solubilization, emulsification, and foaming. When the product comes into contact with pathogenic microorganisms, didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride highly aggregates on the surface of bacteria and viruses, binding with negatively charged proteins on the cell membrane, altering cell permeability, and disrupting the cell surface structure to allow V80 to enter the bacterial cytoplasm. It alkylates key active groups of bacterial proteins, enzymes, and nucleic acids, such as amino, imino, sulfhydryl, carboxyl, and hydroxyl groups, causing denaturation. Thus, the combined action disrupts the normal metabolism and reproduction of pathogenic cells, achieving disinfection and sterilization.
